Charles Ruggiero serves as Chief Executive Officer of Foundation Technology Services. Mr. Ruggiero’s forte is in business strategy, strategic relationships and corporate culture. His day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing the group of companies, managing shareholder responsibilities as well as strategic planning and direction for the firm.

Mr. Ruggiero brings a unique mix of technical  and business expertise in software engineering, off-shore development, management consulting, project management, and Sales & Marketing in both entrepreneurial and large blue chip companies.

Described as a serial entrepreneur, Mr. Ruggiero has founded, or played a critical role in building a number of other companies. Prior to joining Foundation Technology Services, Ruggiero is credited for founding and building CRC International, a Financial Services Global IT Consultancy with development centers in India and Canada. Additionally, as a senior executive, with varying responsibilities, at PRT Group, Ruggiero formed core business units in Insurance, Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Products, Telecommunications and Alliances; along with significant involvement in the establishment of technical development centers in Barbados and Hartford, CT.

Most recently, Charles consulted to GCI (a global IT Consultancy) to help rationalize and refocus several of GCI's business-to-consumer companies, providing strategic guidance and operational support.

Charles is a frequent industry spokesperson on globalization of IT Project/Product Development. He has been a keynote speaker for major business associations and conferences as well as customized presentations to fortune 500 firms.

Mr. Ruggiero holds an MS in Software Engineering from NJIT and two Bachelor degrees in Computer Science & Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.

A resident of New York City, Charles interests include boating, golf, racquetball, travel, and community service.
